Wrinkles and frown lines between the eyebrows are not always an indicator of age. These particular wrinkles can simply be the result of an expressive face. Repeated facial movements and muscle contractions leave lines behind, even in younger adults. Dysport® is an excellent option for these patients as it targets specific muscles and allows the untreated muscles in your face to move freely. No frozen faces, just natural-looking results.
Amazing start to finish! Knowledgeable, professional, and caring! I have been to another doctor for Dysport and I was so disappointed. Dr. Schlesinger knew his craft and delivered. I only wish I found him sooner.—Actual patient. See more real patient reviews »
Candidates for Dysport
- Patients under the age of 65
- Patients with moderate to severe frown lines on the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes
- Patients with expressive faces who wish to maintain their natural expressions
Benefits of Dysport
Dysport is a quick procedure with no downtime and noticeable results within two to three days. Results are long-lasting, often more than four months. Because the injections are targeted to specific muscles around the brow, patients maintain their facial animation. Dysport eliminates the wrinkle, not the expression.
About Dysport
Like Botox, Dysport is a botulinum toxin type A protein injectable and works in a similar fashion to temporarily prevent muscle contraction. These relaxed facial muscles smooth the skin for a younger looking appearance without sacrificing your natural facial expressions.
Treatments typically last just a few minutes and involve one injection into each of five points between and above the eyebrows. No anesthetic is required and most patients experience minimal discomfort. As with all injectables, the experience of your medical provider is paramount.
